Bio

Wazzup! You can call me Malien...or anything else if you know me by another name. :D This is mah Sim-journal which documents the lives of my sims in The Sims 2 game: my most favourite PC game in my lifetime (which isn't that long compared to others). Before you start reading the episodes, please take note of the following:

un: One of the reasons why I like Sims in general (besides the fact that they are oh so funny and thick at times) is because they are free of discrimination and predjudice, among other things. Sure, they are sensitive to nudity (the faces they make at the hot tub are hilarious!)....but overall they won't start picking fights with other sims over petty things like skin colour, gender, sexual orientation, etc... But if a sim has low nice points, or is just downright mean...then they probably will be a bit violent. *g*

deux: I got this game back in December 2004, and I have been able to play occasionally since then. Now that I have summer classes I won't be able to play for a long while....but fear not! I have all the snapshots I need to make a whole lotta episodes. The only thing I need to do now is put them together with some descriptions and dialogue. But that still takes time, and since I don't have much free time anymore....be patient with moi, s'il vous plait.

trois: All of the families I play reside in Pleasantview. I really dunno if I'll ever have time to venture into Veronaville and Strangetown.

quatre: Since I am such a fandom-geek, I have made sims (in addition to my original sims) inspired by my two favourite fandoms: LoTR (and anything else Tolkien) and Harry Potter. These fandom sims are very involved in the lives of my original sims, and vice versa.

cinq: I am trying to explore as many aspects of the game as I can. The only thing I haven't experienced yet (that I can name off the top of my head) is aliens born in the game. Here be marriages, joined unions (that's right y'all...gay sims), affairs, fighting, drama, and just plain weirdness in the sims episodes. So if any of that offends you...I warned ya.

six: If there are people (besides me) who actually read and like my episodes and would like to make icons out of my snapshots, I have no problem with that as long as credit this journal (simdealist) as the source of the pics.
